Traveling Avatar podfades:
What does it mean when a popular weekly podcast about Second Life is going off the air? Will Ross, (William Pitre in Second Life) is pragmatic about the end of his show "The Traveling Avatar", a short segment that until this week has been part of the QDNow.com family of how-to podcasts.“Second Life podcasts existed before me and will soldier on long after my avy is dead,” Ross said. “I've mentioned a few I like on my show and I'll continue to be a loyal listener to them and others.”
If we must, we will.
Ross said he thinks Daphne Abernathy and Tamara Kirshner of Going Broke with Daphne and Tamara will most likely pick up a lot of his listeners as well as other podcasters from Edloe Island.
Podcasters? On Edloe?
I thought we were perverts.
“The rest I expect to commit seppuku like the loyal minions they are,” Ross said in his typical acerbic manner.
And so we shall.
All Edloe and Five Islands residents are requested to converge on Diva's CSI party tonight (deejayed by Nexeus Fatale) for the mass-suicide.
(Someone tell the caterer to 86 the arsenic in the Kool-Aid. They can work it out with the accountants later.)
I guess I need to knock Trav Av off of my directory, but does this mean that I need to add Comma Tripsa's Grammar Girl podcast to the stack?

Well.. that's one way to promote an event :p Not really Diva's party but if you wanna snuff in the name of her, I don't think I'm going to mind. That's going to leave one hell of a mystery, I'm sure!

Any party Diva goes to is HER party.
Especially ones she's going to die at.

I don't look at it podfading as much as leaving while still on top. Will's podcast will be missed. I'm glad it will not be just wiped off the face of the earth, since I still send newbies that way to get information on the basics of being in Second Life.
I would like to thank Will for sending people in our direction.
I will thank him again on the SLNN posting but for some reason the internet nazis at work have forbidden me from going there, I only saw the article because of the browser on the BlackBerry.
And the rest of you podcasters can go off yourself, more listeners for us... BAHAHAHAHAHA

This is just a plot by me to kill off the rest of SL podcasters.
If you haven't noticed, I've had katanas shoved through all parts of EITHER of my bodies and I'm still looking as fab as ever.
Being a machine is the awesome!

I was wondering the same thing about adding Grammar Girl to my in-world directory. Should we all wear flags at half mast as well?

Wearing flags would be, um, silly?
Oh, and notice that Cee's wearing a black vest and shades instead of the usual red.
(Okay, so it's a leather black skirt... girl's a goddamned tiktok tramp, eh)
Now THAT is what I call mourning.

I missed the memo! Oops. Sorry, I was *ironically* off line editing a PODCAST!
@Nexeus - What Crap said, any party I attend is MY Party! :P
@Daphne - we repeatedly podfade, but we're determined to make continual come backs. :)
