COMING SOON: Edloe Island.
North of Nowhereville (and Pitt Island)
West of Woodridge
Northwest of Los Arboles
There is still the distinct possibility that the Lindens will screw this up one last time.
We'll see if Dee comes through and convinces her fellow Lindens that they really want our money.
Current layout:

Daphne Abernathy is opposite her podcasting partner Tamara Kirshner.
Ri An and Gomem DeSoto are opposite Podmafia boss Stuart Warf.
Jane2/Rocky and Raz can swap land and prims to fit in the palace.
Will's planning a seaside garden.
Hope's preparing a mansion and trees, currently opposite Kath. If Kath and Diva/Kat switch parcels, you've now got Hope opposite the Broads.
Chel Pixie can be placed pretty much anywhere she needs or wants to go, but the commons is on the East end for linkup projects with Dedric of Woodbridge should he wish to experiment with multisim projects.
Residents will be encouraged to consider placing commercial kiosks within Nowhereville's sandwalk as a gesture of neighborliness (Greer Gallery needs to be reformed as a vendor display).
And the clocktower goes in the island center with the Black Tie Martini Club planned in its core.

I'm a little afraid of expressing my congratulations and excitement for fear of jinxing things but since I'm not overly superstitious I will say this:
Rock On!

Do you know how long it will take for me to pack up the castle? I have to call UHaul to reserve a van, get some boxes, start wraping the breakables in bubble wrap. Herding the ducks will take awhile too...
What's the delivery date on this? When will the terraforming be done?
Thank you for your hard work, Crap, it's greatly appreciated.
I have faith they will want our money.

I do not have an ETA, but I'm waiting on confirmation.
First step is setting up the management group, giving permissions, and deeding the place.
Then, we'll need to set the parcel boundaries.
The parcels will not be set with hard limits, but we will set up soft limits to let folks help budget usage.
Once the parcels are set, we'll set the sim's edges to match our neighbors, sculpt up the water to the 11 meter borders, and then folks can terraform from there as need be.
Hrm... so, where's the Land Owner tutorials so I can study this crap? ;)

I know they will take our money. And, in case anyone is interested, my Yak pen will be no larger that 20X20M. Daph gets ducks.. I get Yaks!
And Thanks Crap, for the B.S. you've put yourself through. It is muchly appreciated!

I wanted to avoid coming up with a Covenant for the island, but we may want to formalize the principle of "I am responsible for my own portion of the island, will contribute my efforts towards the construction of the commons area and events, I won't actively try to piss off the other residents, and I will be open to discussion and resolution should I unknowingly piss them off."
Essentially: "Everything's cool, and when it isn't, we'll work it out together."
Because I think we all agree that it beats any alternative we've experienced so far.

I note that there is no land designated as agricultural (i.e., yaks) and I trust it will remain that way. Thanks for your infinite patience with corporate America...let the beach/castle planning begin!
