Yxes Delacroix earns her tribal name...

So, there I was, watching my events list, building glowing brackets for pilots to fly through for the air races while fighting with the phantom white arrows, when Louis Volare sends out a note that Louis and Luigi would be playing a double-header at Club Egret.

Club Egret is formal attire only? Oh noes! Whatever shall I wear?

After listening to Goddess and Banana yesterday, I learned that Yxes Delacroix is also a fan of Louis/Luigi (Banana appears not to be), so I figured I'd let her know this was happening.

Sure enough... she appears.

Since it's rude to invite someone to a formal occasion and not ask them to dance, I did the honorable thing and crashed out my SL client before relogging and asking her to dance.

And thus, she earns the Indian tribal name of ...

That's right: "Dances With Midgets"

In these circumstances, I cannot resist cracking a few jokes ala those old "The Muppet Show" dancing skits. (Such as "Ah, you dance so divinely, I feel like I am floating on air... wait... I am floating in mid-air!")

And at least once during a dance, my poor gears lock up and I must be rewound. (The bugginess of synced poseballs helps decide when those moments happen, it seems)

If only Dedric Mauriac had upgraded me to coin-op instead of wind-up, I'd be a Lindenaire.

(Cue the Randy Newman track...)

Randy Newman? I was thinking more Dresden Dolls.
